The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) is the dream destination for engineering and computing students in Pakistan. Securing admission in highly competitive fields like Software Engineering or Computer Science requires a score of 145+ out of 200 on the NUST Entry Test (NET).
1. Understanding the NET Structure
The NET for Engineering and Computer Science consists of 200 MCQs to be solved in 3 hours. There is no negative marking, which makes guessing strategically very important:
- Mathematics (80 MCQs - 40%): The most critical section. It includes major topics from FSc Part 1 and 2, such as Conic Sections, Calculus, Integration, Vectors, Matrices, and Trigonometry.
